Cool site; you choose options to automatically generate a fairytale. Amusing.

Do you still remember THAT show? The one you just LOVED, but it was canceled by an unforgiving network? Do you still have a soft soft for that TV cult hit?
Listed on this page are those shows old and new.
If you have a show you would like to add to one of the lists, or want to comment, feel free.

A letter to Amazon.com customers.

I don't know how many people have heard about Amazon's new policy, but I feel I must speak out because as an independent author, it may end or curtail my career before it has truly started.
Amazon.com recently purchased BookSurge, a Print-on-Demand subsidy publishing company(also referred to a self-publishing company). Now it is in the process of essentially banning any self-published author or company not using BookSurge from selling on Amazon.com.
They are telling all subsidy publishers and small press publishers who use POD services, switch to the BookSurge printing service or your authors will have their buy buttons disabled.
There will be financial consequences for publishers and authors if they are forced to switch, and authors will lose precious sales if they don't.(I have posted links to articles that explain these consequences in detail).
I publish with Lulu.com, if they switch over I may not be able to afford to publish my books anymore. If they stand their ground(and I hope they do), my marketing campaigns will have to be entirely redone, and I lose Amazon as a online retailer.
How is this fair?
